Hello, my name is Corinne Mathiopoulos, and I am so glad you're here and taking the first step in freeing up your time for the better! Let me introduce myself. I have been in the customer service and administrative world for most of my life starting with a part-time job when I was 13 years old. My mother was an accountant and tax professional and had been training me in the bookkeeping field by having me reconcile my own checking account using Quickbooks at just 12 years of age. My first paying job was at the Folsom Chamber of Commerce selling Rodeo tickets, completing administrative tasks, and interacting with city residents and visitors.
When COVID hit, I was let go from a new position as a surrogate coordinator, so I decided that it was now or never to rip the band-aid and venture off into the world of small business ownership. I had the professional experience, I had the tools, and I have the drive & determination. That very weekend, I created my business name, logo, website, and business cards, filed with the county for my business license, and opened my business checking account. On Monday morning, I started marketing myself on social media and began reaching out to potential clients needing my services. Today, I am so proud of where I have gotten myself and I have learned so much working with a variety of clients all over the United States.
When I am not working, you will find me at home with my family and we will be more than likely remodeling something in our home. The projects never seem to end around here! I have two sons, a daughter, and an incredibly supportive husband who is constantly pushing me to achieve my goals and reach my full potential. I was a gestational surrogate (just the oven) for three separate families and beyond having my own kids, it has been one of the most emotionally rewarding things I have ever done. I have AA degrees in Associate of Arts and Graphic Design, and AA degrees in Marketing, Natural Science, Psychology, Social & Behavior Science, and Business. I am also on the path to receiving a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Sac State.
